t's funny how life can open doors to new worlds for you. All we have to do is listen to our hearts. In my 1st chapter I was an electronics technician and computers systems engineer (AT&T Bell Labs), culminating as the head of technology and facilities for (Wall Street firm) Nomura Securities Intl. operations in the US. While commuting to work I noticed that my neighborhood (Jersey City, NJ) was lacking an European style bistro (tapas place) like the ones we have in Sevilla Spain (where I'm from), were locals meet, have a snack, a meal, or a drink pretty much any time of the day. And so with no experience in the restaurant business I went bananas and created "Marco And Pepe" restaurant (MarcoandPepe.com) a Bistro that would bring locals together, create new memories and bring this missing piece to the community. Marco And Pepe was a total success running for 17 amazing years! I can't believe that to this day I still meet people all over the US that have been to my restaurant it's just incredible.

Now living in Dallas TX I found a new community, pickleball players! and people of all kinds that love good food and the experience of having someone (like me) cook right in front of them a simple but bistro quality meal. You know, when you think about it, eating a meal really does become an memorable experience when you can see it being made in front of you. And when you share it with the ones close to you, your friends, your community, we connect and enjoy the magic of being together with good food.
